It is my sincere hope to be able to offer you a committed and knowledgeable partner in your wellness journey. I know it can be overwhelming getting started, but you do not have to do it alone. I use personalized nutrition and lifestyle recommendations to give you the confidence to take back control of your health. With a “food first” approach and traditional nutrition principles, we are able to restore balance and create an environment where health can thrive. I believe symptoms are our body's way of communicating with us and we must listen to what they are trying to tell us. By focusing on foundational health, we can address what the body is telling us it wants, or in many cases, doesn't want.
To start, I offer a free 20-minute phone consultation where we can get to know each other, establish your personal goals, and set expectations for what our meetings together will be like. This is a great opportunity to see if this type of coaching is right for your health and wellness needs.
Our first meeting will be a thorough dive into your health history and current habits. Prepare to spend some time on this! I use a tool called the Nutritional Assessment Questionnaire to pinpoint which foundational areas of the body could benefit from our support. You will also be asked to complete a detailed 4-day food journal, which we will use to assess any patterns or see where we can make any improvements. All this together gives us a great visual that we can use to personalize your wellness plan.
On top of our assessment tools, we also offer several functional testing options to help customize your protocols even further:
Once we have established a starting plan, we will meet regularly for follow-up appointments. These will be less of a time commitment and are meant to be taken at your own pace. We can use these meetings to gauge progress and adjust where necessary. During our time together you will have as much support from me as you need, and I encourage plenty of communication.
Our health does not need to be such a mystery. My goal is to teach you how to bring your body back to balance, and there is never a better time to start learning than now.

I believe that thriving health is achievable for all people and that a lot of the answers we need can be found by looking towards ancestral wisdom. Taking care of our bodies does not need to be so complicated, however, it does involve straying from the norm. Many people in today's society are stuck in a cycle of illness. We are undernourished and over-medicated. Our standard diet and modern environment are not always conducive to wellness. This can seem daunting, and I myself also used to feel overwhelmed with all of the changes I wanted to make in my life. What I found is that change has to happen a little bit at a time. I began making massive improvements in my energy and mental health with simple modifications to my diet and lifestyle. "Mystery" symptoms that I had experienced for years seemed to disappear. I realized the true power that food had for healing our bodies and our society. From then on it became my mission to help others experience the same thing. I think that most people want change, but just simply do not know where to start. We are bombarded constantly with new diets and frankly bad advice on how to improve our health all the time. By looking at the traditions of societies that came before us, societies that had virtually none of the diseases that we experience today, we can unlock some of the answers to what creates true and vibrant wellness. I want to pass on the knowledge that I have gained within my own journey to others so that it can help them improve the quality of not only their lives but the lives of their friends and families. Changes that start small can truly grow to change the world.

I have long been inspired by elephants. I can't think of a better animal that embodies the values I wish to bring to my business. Elephants have always been known for wisdom due to their long lifespans and excellent memories. I think in our lives, and especially when it comes to our health, we can always be learning. And not only learning, but passing that knowledge onto others. It is truly a blessing to be able to connect with another person and share the things we know. Elephants have been known to change their habits and behavior to adapt to the environment around them and they also have very strong social bonds. The ability to lean on others for support has always been foundational for success. I strongly feel that getting back in touch with our roots, knowing our neighbors, supporting our community, and surrounding ourselves with positive people helps us to live our best lives. And my final reason may be my most loved, as it is a story I have carried with me for a long time. I first heard of "The Blind Men and the Elephant" when I was a teenager, and it resonated very deeply with me. It is about perspective, and how we can all look at the same thing and see something completely different. I try to remember this story in all aspects of my life and believe it is one of the most important things we can take into consideration when interacting with another person. It's easy to get caught up in our own way of viewing things and stepping back to consider another perspective can make all of the difference.
